Our ESDM therapy (Early Start Denver Model) programs are supported by child psychologist Deirdre Brandner. 

​

Due to intensive and one-on-one nature of our ESDM Melbourne programs, capacity is limited and we would invite you to registered as early as possible for ESDM Melbourne programs.

Deirdre Brandner
Child Psychologist

Deidre is a highly respected Psychologist who has extensive experience in providing practical strategies and programs tailored to meet the needs of the children, their families and schools. Deirdre is renowned for her ability to quickly build rapport and trust with children, parents and teachers and is committed to achieving the best long term outcomes for every child. Her input and guidance would be a great asset for every child. Deirdre is available both at our centre and at her clinic in Malvern.

Sharon Sirige
ESDM Program Coordinator
Senior Early Intervention Therapist

Bachelor of Education 

Sharon is an experienced early intervention consultant on the home stretch of her certification process. As a mother of two boys, she has a flair with kids and pays attention to supporting parents' wellbeing. Sharon has a humble approach to early intervention, seeking continual self-improvement and passing all her knowledge, experience and skill to other therapists. She believes that only through proliferation of training therapists can more children benefit from early intervention. She takes an inclusive approach to parents' role in ESDM and is also fluent in Mongolian and Mandarin.

Angelique Matthews
Early Intervention Therapist &

Early Childhood Educator

Angelique has over 18 years of experience in early childhood education. She has assisted children with specialised additional support at ELCs and junior schools at distinguished Victorian grammar schools, focusing on individualised learning and building specific developmental skills. Angelique loves the genuine interactions with children and has an attentive, positive and patient approach to early intervention. She is a great support for parents, whose participation and feedback are greatly valued by our organisation.

Ashley Milosevska
Early Intervention Therapist
Bachelor of Science (Psychology) (current)

Ashley is compassionate and empathetic in her approach to delivering tailored and individualized therapy to each child. She has a passion for helping and supporting young children and is particularly interested in social and developmental psychology. As a volunteer at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute, Ashley has become involved in concussion research and treatment for children, and aspires to extend her knowledge and experience to eventually work as a clinical psychologist after completing her degree.

Ben Smyth
Early Intervention Therapist
Bachelor of Science (Psychology) (current)

Ben is personable and diligent therapist who is passionate about providing fun learning for young children. Ben is completing his degree and aspires to become a clinical psychologist and has a keen interest in developmental psychology. He has been a mentor at the University of Melbourne where he is completing his degree and a tutor. Ben is a fast learner who loves to learn, and to turn knowledge to experience.

Blythe Allan
Early Intervention Therapist
Bachelor of Communications

Blythe has a background in linguistics and aspires to become a speech pathologist. Through personal experience and professional development, Blythe is dedicated to helping young children gain communication, personal independence and social skills. She is tactful and patient with children and loves finding the smile during play based therapy. Blythe is an expert skier and published writer.

Helen Falieros
Early Intervention Therapist
Bachelor of Psychology

Helen has had extensive experience supporting and assisting children on the on the autism spectrum and children with dyslexia through NDIS services. She always approaches a child who is overwhelmed with patience, empathy and skill. Her background in psychology complements her delivery of intensive ESDM therapy, in which she is methodical and insightful.

Mia Hughie-Williams
Early Intervention Therapist

Masters in Counselling (current)

Mia is a highly motivated and enthusiastic early intervention therapist with experience in disability support work and early intervention therapy using applied behaviour analysis (ABA). She is passionate about working with children and families and assist them by encouraging positive change and progression in their daily functioning. Her focus is on achieving measurable skill acquisition in children with developmental delay through the Early Start Denver Model.

Mitchell McCombe
Early Intervention Therapist

Bachelor of Psychology (current)

Mitch is completing his final year of his psychology degree at the University of Melbourne and has a strong passion for mixing sport and developmental psychology. As an affable helpful play partner to kids, he enjoys helping young children develop social perceptiveness, communication, self-regulation, empathy and critical thinking. He has won gold whilst captaining the team in Australian national beach volleyball championships.

Peggy Ying
Early Intervention Therapist

Master of Speech Pathology

Peggy is an insightful early intervention therapist. At the UniMelb Childhood Clinic, she gained experience and interest in evidence-based intervention, treatment of developmental speech delay and early intervention for children with autism. With a solution-based approach, she has developed board games to help children building social and playing skills. Her goal is to provide transdisciplinary approach to early intervention and speech pathology.

Quynh Anh Nguyen

Bachelor of Arts (Psychology & Philosophy) (current)

Quynh is a Melbourne University International Undergraduate Scholar and has received numerous rewards from the University of Melbourne in her psychology studies. She has had years of experience working as a tutor and mentor for children, and is also trained in working in a clinical setting as a dental assistant. Quynh Anh is passionate about constantly improving her skills in ESDM early intervention through ongoing practice and training. She loves building rapport with children and seeing each child achieve measurable progress.

Sophie Gong

Sophie is an active member of the Melbourne University Psychology Association and have written and published articles about early childhood development and education. With a passion in developmental psychology and through community based volunteer work, Sophie has developed a patient and understanding approach to working with children and families which she carries in her implementation of ESDM early intervention.

Doctor of Medicine (current)

With a passion for child development and early learning, Yihan has had a wide range of experience from Children’s hospital volunteer to kindergarten teaching before joining the team. She is dedicated to delivering therapy for children in an energetic and fun environment. In her spare time, she loves running and singing. Yihan is completing her Doctor of Medicine and aspires to become a paediatrician.

Zeynep Evcimen

Zeynep has completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She has a broad range of experience from being a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Assistant to working with refugee children. Zeynep aspires to become a psychologist and she is particularly passionate about developmental psychology and helping children reach their full potential. She has also studied and worked in Turkey. During her spare time, she enjoys painting and loves the beach.

Zoe Smith

Zoe has experienced in disability support and previously provided early intervention using applied behaviour analysis (ABA) approach. She is passionate about Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) and helping children increase skills, personal independence and social integration. She is patient, intuitive and responsive in her approach to early intervention.

In additional to primarily delivering of our programs in English, for very young children that have had minimal exposure to English at home, we can also integrate Greek, Turkish, Mandarin or Vietnamese, initially, to support children build up their English vocabulary.
